Pogi Years Old in LA

Parokya ni Edgar toured the US and Canada to promote their 2016 album Pogi Years Old.

Their stint in LA at the Exchange LA on April 4, 2017 was the last leg of their North America tour.

The event started at 7pm but Parokya Ni Edgar didn't grace the stage until 10pm. Aspiring and seasoned bands opened the show.  Each group sang 3-4 songs.  Buwi's new local (LA) band played for the audience, too.

This tour is special for these boys because it would be last in a long time performing as a whole. It was mentioned several times by lead vocalist Chito Miranda that it was an honor playing with Buwi and that upon return to the Philippines they will be one man short.

PNE played one song from Pogi Years Old. They played their hit singles from each album they released and sang a couple of tease covers from Maroon 5 and Rivermaya.
Fans were asked to jam on stage with the band, too.

The energy from both PNE and the audience was explosive!  Having Philippine's most loved band in a small venue is a winner experience.

Vinci and Chito's bickering at each other made the audience laugh.  Vinci is popular for leaving then rejoining the band for a couple of times.  Well, Chito certainly can roast this bro.

We travelled home with big smiles on our faces.  We loved the nostalgic music and the band's interaction with the audience.  We drove from LA with practically damaged and yet happy eardrums (as we were only a few inches from the speakers).

One lucky fan got his guitar signed. Must be a prized possession now.

Parokya ni Edgar's music hits home especially for Filipinos who are in other parts of the world.
